If you're unsure, call us

Generally, a residential construction or light renovation project requires a 10-yard container. That said, our MOST POPULAR container is the 20-yard option. For demolition or larger renovation projects such as a full roof replacement, you should consider it. It is also ideal for landscaping projects to dispose of fill materials. Small excavators can easily load it.

For commercial projects, the same rules apply, but it is not uncommon to consider a 30-yard container for large construction sites, new builds, or heavy materials. This is our largest available container and it is also suitable for industrial projects.

For liquids, our sealed containers are available in 20-yard sizes only.

Rent a container

It's important to understand your needs in order to make the right choice and pay a fair price. Describe your project to us and we can adjust your order accordingly. You will be billed based on the weight of the materials in the container at the end of the rental period. That said, rentals do come with tons included:

10 Yard
1 ton included
15 Yard
1.5 tons included
20 Yard
2 tons included
30 Yard
3 tons included

Klondike offers a pricing model that helps customers save money by charging by the half-ton instead of the full ton. For example: for 1.4 tons of materials, you would be charged for 1.5 tons instead of 2 tons.

Yes, we are open 7 days a week. We also offer a 24/7 environmental emergency service.

For emergencies

When ordering your container, ask us to place bulk materials inside it, then pay only for the added materials and save on delivery costs. When the container arrives at your property, the materials can be unloaded at the desired location and the empty bin can then be placed where needed.

Should I sort my materials in the rented container?

Unlike many companies, Klondike encourages material sorting. By separating metal, concrete, asphalt, and fill materials, you can reduce your rental and disposal costs ($).

At Klondike Containers, we go beyond simple container rentals. We recover and repurpose materials to reduce environmental impact:

  • Metal is recycled (customer rebate available)
  • Concrete is crushed and reused
  • Asphalt is recycled
  • Fill material is screened and repurposed

Important note: Klondike supports LEED projects throughout the region and can provide the documentation required for compliance.
